....and now for some romance ~ Boudoir photographer MA

All I have to say is... what a small world it truly is! Imagine my surprise when an old classmate of mine from elementary school contacted me regarding Boudoir photography. It was definitely a pleasant surprise! I LOVE reconnecting with familiar faces from when I was younger... it's such a trip to catch up and see how everyone is doing. :)

It was a yucky day outside - snow and slush as far as the eye could see - but that didn't bother us... we had some romantic images to take! Shooting for a book, I concentrated on getting artistic portraits of Ms. A - we did about 5 different looks and in record time! She was a pleasure to photograph and spend time with... I cannot wait until the wedding!!!

With her gracious permission, I would like to share some photos!

Boudoir sessions are a great way to treat yourselves, ladies! Sure they make great gifts for your significant others but, come on, what's more fun than getting made up like a model, having a photo shoot and getting gorgeous products? Not much ;)

I always approach these sessions looking to make something artistic and definitely feel we achieved just that!

Hope you like!

Free Photos for Military Families! ~ Plymouth MA Photographer

As a former military brat and sister of an awesome brother heading to Kuwait this month, I have much respect for our military. They give up their safety, comfort, and most of all precious time with their loved ones - all for our country... for me and you. I've often wondered what ways I could give back that would show just how grateful I am for them.

Inspired by an amazing wedding photographer, Kevin Swan, I now know what I can do to make a difference. Our troops sacrifice so much for us and being away from their families for so long must be the hardest part to bear for them. Maybe in some small way, I can bring their family to them...

Starting February 1, I will be offering free photo sessions to immediate family members of deployed soldiers. Also, photos and products will be offered at a 20% discount!

Visit my website and feel free to contact me for more information. Thank you to our military - we love you and pray for your safe return!

Child Model Search Program!

Here's the info! Please click to enlarge:

So excited! I'm putting together my very own child model book. To keep my portfolio updated and looking as fabulous as possible, I must be able to play and create - can't let that imagination get rusty, you know? :)

First I need to create a book - the photo sessions for that are 15 minutes and the info is on the above photo. If interested, contact me as soon as possible to book a time slot. They're going to fill up quickly. After that is made, I will contact you for any future sessions I am looking to work on! Simple as that!

When ideas pop up or inspiration strikes, I'm going to need some little people to play with me and let me photograph them! Parents, I thank you in advance for your interest and willingness to let me work with your children! I can't wait to begin!!!

Photo Prints - Child Photographer MA

I love my lab. Not only are the prints always gorgeous... there's a Tootsie Pop in every shipment. They must be psychic. ;)

Just dropped off prints to a client and they came out so stinking cute, I had to snag some shots of them before I handed them over! Behold... adorableness!

Needless to say, they loved them. With that face everywhere...who wouldn't ;)

I also received my prints for an exhibit that will be up in Plymouth soon. I'll grab shots of those next and upload as soon as I can. There's a 16x20 that made me gasp when I opened the box. Not even kidding!

So ends the ode to my lab.... :)

Vintage Boudoir ~ Plymouth MA Photographer

Merry Christmas Eve to all! Before all the family get togethers, champagne, food and presents, I got a chance to sit down and retouch a recent photoshoot. Peppermint mocha latte from Dunky's in hand, I opened up my programs and got to work. The only question was what kind of post work to do?? Colorful, Black and white, soft, contrasty - the options are endless.

I may be late on the "old is new again" train but I am borderline obsessed with vintage imagery lately. I grew up in the "MTV" era where sexiness is portrayed as scantily clad, morally questionable and more raunchy than classy. There's something to be said for the days of old where the less you see, the more mysterious and thus, extremely sexy. Old Hollywood glamour is beckoning to me and I'm answering the call with camera in hand. ;) I was born in the wrong era..

I love being able to help another woman feel beautiful and great about themselves all while getting whimsically romantic images they can treasure forever. My Boudoir sessions focus on classy and romantic and this new vintage obsession of mine is fitting in rather nicely..

Here is a sneak peek of the lovely Natasha...

Birthday Boy! ~ Plymouth MA Children Photographer

From the minute I met this little guy, I knew we would get along famously. He greeted me with a huge smile and stole my heart immediately. There's just something about the little dudes! I mean, come on, those teeth...

His mom is an old classmate of mine and it was so great to catch up with her. It's amazing how almost 10 years has passed since I've seen her last!

So I'd like to wish Mr. "L" a Happy, Happy 1st Birthday and give his amazing parents a little sneak peek at what they have to look forward to for his photos. With a smile like that, how could I take a bad one?
